Kauno taikomosios dailės mokykla (Kaunas Applied Art School) is vocational secondary education school. At present, the school employs 126 workers, of which there are 69 teachers,
1 social educator, 1 psychologists, 1 special educator and 470 pupils of age 16 and more this year. School consists of two departments; one of them is situated in another city – Alytus.
Together with the secondary education curriculum, we provide vocational training in areas like making fine metal articles, ceramics, making furniture, computer design operating, visual
advertising, interior design, photography. Our school is situated in the middle of the country of Lithuania – Kaunas, and Youth from all over Lithuania come to study here, mostly from small towns. All students and pupils are provided with accommodation in a dormitory, if necessary.
School is open to new initiatives and strives for continuous improvement, participates in national and international projects like ERASMUS+ and has lots of experience implementing them.
Students, who have hearing or other disabilities, are integrated in the teaching and learning process.
