XABEC is a VET school located in Valencia (Spain). Since 2006 provides training related with the knowledge are of Industrial Maintenance and Building Installations to different people:

a) IVET: 5 qualifications of Level EQF 3-4 and 3 qualifications of Upper VET (EQF 5) (550 students)

b) Adult education & unemployed people [EQF 1 & 2] (250 students)

c) Workers in companies (around 500 per year)

d) Special programs aimed to people in risk of social exclusion (250 students/year)

IVET training is offered in three modalities:

a) School-Based learning (in practical workshops)

b) Work-Based learning (Dual Training System)

c) Blended learning (Moodle Platform)

There are 55 employed people, teaching and administrative staff.

Xabec is an official Employment Office: we act as intermediate institution between the companies and job-seekers. Our rate of employment is quite high.

Xabec was a Pilot school for the implementation of the Dual Training System in Valencia Region. We have constituted the “Professional Development Forum”, an entity that brings together all the companies that are related to our school. At present time there are more than 200 companies in it.

Xabec has a wide international scope: it is member of four international networks; all the teachers belong to an International Technical Department, where they can share good practices and innovation with other colleagues.
